Job Description


Job Responsibility

  • Develop program roadmap, including its various phases, objectives and risk mitigation.
  • Define program governance and coordinate the underlying projects and their interdependencies.
  • Lead the program throughout the program life cycle and ensure objectives of program are achieved.
  • Ensure quality of program delivery.
  • Provide overall program status report (including risks and mitigations) to key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting the project progress to the PMO office
  • Lead project planning and tracking during project lifecycle. Manage overall delivery execution and project resources according to the scope, budget and project schedule. Apply best practices whenever possible during project execution.
  • Execute Project Management Practices (knowledge area) whatever applicable e.g. Risk Mgt, Vendor Mgt, Quality Mgt, etc.
  • Responsible for team management, resource mobilization, project escalations, activities coordination, deliverables management and all project documentations
  • Support Solution Architects and the team in arriving at the optimal design
  • Client Management
  • Manages day-to-day internal and external client interaction.
  • Sets and manages internal and external client expectations.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.


Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the direct management of large, complex projects with responsibility for site analysis, permitting and approvals, budget control, estimating, design and construction coordination, and project scheduling. Professional registration and other advanced training is preferred. Highly organized, analytical, ability to motivate and manage others.
  • Good functional and technical knowledge as well as experience in SAP FI and BW implementation would an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge as well as experience in Tax (esp. Corporate Income Tax and Petroleum Income Tax) would an added advantage.
  • Experience of working on large corporate systems with complex organisational constraints.
  • Capability to understand and design complex custom application designs. To bring experience of various solution designs and understand their relative merits.
  • Ability to make decisions for complex problems, considering a wide range of priorities.
  • Proven ability to manage large and diverse teams.
  • Strong consulting skills to work with process owners to gather requirements for design. Use business understanding to design solutions having strong user acceptance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from junior support staff through to senior finance managers.
  • Strong written communications, including to present problem statements, design principals, and ability to make convincing arguments. Decisions often need to be gained through thought leadership rather than authority.
