Job Description


Job Responsibility
  • Responsible for full spectrum of Human Resource and its administration functions with emphasis on manpower planning, budgets, recruitment and selection, industrial relations and employee relations, performance based appraisals, compensation, welfare and benefits, training and development. 
  • Liaise with local authorities in regards to all statutory and regulation; liaison with government agencies and statutory bodies in relation to all labour related matters. 
  • To assist the Group Head of Human Resource in the smooth and efficient running of the HRD.
  • Provide advisory and functional role on all human resources matters, planning and implementation of human resources programmes in line with the Company and Group's objective. 
  • To assist the Group Head of Human Resource with the overall recruitment and manpower planning process for the Group. 
  • To maintain and develop a systematic administration system for the effective administration of the human resources department with relevant monthly and quarterly reports focusing manpower movement and tardiness, budgets, training, payroll and claims, and any other HR report as and when requested by the Group Head of Human Resource or Management. 
  • To monitor on the recruitment and resignation details in ensuring accuracy of payment and notice period. 
  • Prepare and coordinate annual performance appraisals and to arrange relevant information for annual salary adjustments (where applicable). 
  • To coordinate with insurance companies and statutory bodies for employees' insurance and medical claims and maintain close rapport with the accredited panel clinics. 
  • To involve in staff appreciation and disciplinary issues to ensure high level of motivation and compliance to company policies. 
  • To ensure that all the policies and procedures outlined in the Handbook are strictly adhered to. 
  • Ensure that all employees have a complete understanding and access to the company's Handbook, its policies and procedures (ICP & SOP) and standing instruction (SI). 
  • To develop a Training Needs Analysis program for all Departments through the Department Heads. 
  • Liaise with professional bodies, training institutions and consultants to source and develop appropriate programmes. 
  • To maintain an effective filing system for proper maintenance of all Human Resources documentation. 
  • To respond to changes in the Human Resources functions dictated by the Financial and Banking industry, Company or Management from time to time. 
  • To perform other duties assigned by the Group Head of Human Resource or Management from time to time.

Job Requirements
  • Recognised Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent  
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in management level. 
  • Sound knowledge of the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, Labour laws and prevailing HR practices and legislation in Malaysia. 
  • Proficient in KaizenHR system is an added advantage 
  • Strong leadership skills; effective time management skills, able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal in English and Bahasa Malaysia  
  • Good organizational and analytical skills; able to work in a fast paced environment with quick turn-around results
