Job ResponsibilityRecruitment, Staffing and Employment
- Manages the standard recruitment process to recruit high performance team.
- Establish collaboration with industry partners to build high quality talent pools.
- Reviews resume for all candidates and interview shortlisted candidates for employment.
- Serve on employee selection committees' meetings.
- Processes pre-employment formalities eg medical, work pass, social visit, transit accommodation and relocation, travel entry approval.
- Ensures timely appointment of selected candidate and conduct onboarding orientation including preparation of work space and staff ID, and trainings.
- Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in a timely manner.
Performance Management
- Manages the quarterly performance review process and ensure timely submission by staff.
- Prepares document and facilitate Board meeting
HR Management System & Payroll
- Manages the development and maintenance of the HR Information System.
- Maintains employee-related databases.
- Conducts periodical audits on the database to ensure accuracy.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
- Monitors renewal of contract, teaching permits, work passes and statutory registration and oversees exit and clearance when staff departs from service.
- Prepare payroll for approval and release.
HSE & Business Administration
- Provides day-to-day benefits administration services, eg e-claim for hourly payment to temp staff.
- Prepare department expenses budget.
- Leave administration including tracking of non-vacation leave, eg compassionate leave, no pay leave etc
- Renew related business licenses.
- Supports staff welfare activities
- Provides secretarial support for staff retreat and meeting including room reservations, orders lunch and minutes taking etc
- Ensure staff to follow related HSE policy and guideline
Job Requirements- Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in HR positions
- Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia in communication & writing.
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of HR work
- Strong sense of responsibility, good service awareness and communication skills
- Strong understanding of local labor legislation
- Self-motivated individual who is meticulous and organized
- Ability to multitask and priorities in the middle of stressful situations
