Job Responsibility
Position Summary:
o Network Specialist is an end-to-end Telco and ICT transition and operational support consultant assigned to selected clients.
o Provides valuable transition and operations management resulting in higher customer satisfaction and better SLA compliance for clients' subscribed SingTel services.
o Helps to on-board customers from other Telco networks and continues operational support.
o Besides having a good understanding of the client's ICT infrastructure, the network specialist needs to familiarize with the client's business requirements, subscribed services and technical support history.
o Besides managing transition phase, Network Specialist continually monitors client's technical support needs, tracks open incidents and service requests, and ensures that required technical and operational resources are aligned to resolve issues promptly and completely.
o By maintaining a long-term relationship with their clients, Network Specialist gains both understanding and insight of their clients' ICT organizations', its impact on overall business, their ICT goals, and their pain points - which are used by Network Specialist to ensure their clients' operational success with the products and services.

Job Responsibilities:
o Create low level design document for Transition Plan.
o Act as Technical single point of contact during Transition phase.
o Help Project manager and Global Services Provisioning team to on-board customer network.
o Provide technical escalation support during transition activities.
o Provides client-focused operations support within selected client's by working closely with various internal support teams.
o Documents client's ICT environment and operations for better support and understanding.
o Provides Service Request (SR) assessment, advice, and support.
o Provides periodic reports to client with the status of SRs.
o Participates in CAB meetings related to client's infrastructure changes to achieve zero unexpected outage.
o Ensure the RFO / Incident report is produced within the required timeline.
o Provide inputs to Problem Management team.
o For major incidents, work with Major Incident Management Team to lead and coordinate with the respective resolver groups including 3rd party vendors until incident resolution; and escalate to resolver group's management where necessary.

Job Requirements:
o Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
o Required skill(s): OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS, TE, QoS, IP VPN.
o Networking Protocol Behaviors (BGP, OSPF, Redundancy Protocol-HSRP)
o Network fundamentals (ARPA, HDLC, Duplex setting, SSH/Telnet, static routing, etc.)
o Packet Level Troubleshooting
o MPLS Troubleshooting
o VPN Technology (IPsec) - Theory and Scenario Based
o CCNP or CCIE certification will be an added advantage for this position.
o At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
o Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
