Job ResponsibilityJob Description:
-Looking for teachers who can teach Sciences or English or Mandarin or Commerce and other subjects for primary and secondary level.
-To teach subjects/classes as designated according to the school's syllabus.
-Participate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the secondary curriculum materials based on the objectives of the school.
-Document and monitor students' performance tracking the growth and progress such as attendance, assessment & etc.
-Monitor students' well-being and motivate them to achieve their learning goals.
-Maintain a high standard of student engagement, progress, and behavior during the lessons to facilitate effective learning.
-Participate in the parent information sessions, parent/ teacher meetings, and attend all appropriate meetings.
-Preparing lessons thoroughly and keeping accurate and current records of work (including homework) set.
-Correcting students' work promptly, thoroughly, carefully, and in a positive way.
-Able to use digital technology and tools to enhance and support learning and progress.
-To undertake some reasonable and specific responsibilities within the school as requested.
-To give others such assistance might reasonably require from time to time.
-Assist in the development of appropriate syllabi, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, and teaching strategies in the subject area.
-Contribute to the subject area's Improvement Plan and its implementation.
-Plan and prepare courses and lessons in line with school policy on the implementation of Assessment for Learning.
Requirements:
-At least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate, Professional Degree, Education/Teaching or equivalent.
-At least 1 year or less of teaching experience in school.
-Able to speak fluently in English.
-Be self-motivated, responsible & innovative.
-Caring & supportive approach to children and parents.
-Able to engage, and motivate students with an enthusiastic, interactive presentation.
-Have the interpersonal skills needed to work successfully with teams.
-Have strong learning-focused philosophy.
-Have a growth mindset looking to continually improve.
