Job Responsibility- Supervises and assists with all housekeeping activity in given areas of the hotel
- Checks all vacant rooms, reports any discrepancy of rooms to Room Division Manager
- Checks maids for appearance, uniform, deportments, etc
- Checks all linen carts have ample linen, supplies and detergents
- Inspects all rooms cleaned in assigned areas to his/her satisfaction
- Reports the status of rooms to Front office/Room division manager
- Reports unusual activity on the floors to the Room division manager
- Trains and orientates chambermaids
- Assists on the floor and relief in emergencies
- Supervises works of chambermaids
- Spot checks assigned areas at end of day, ensure all equipments and supplies are locked and stored correctly
- Assists in linen and supplies inventory and collects all keys from maids after the end of a shift
- Reports on assigned area at the end of the day, also arranges with repairs and maintenance on repairs needed
- Reports articles left behind by room guests
- Carry out the special assignment that assigned by Room division manager
- Ensure all sections are with sufficient manpower
- Ensure all staffs are well disciplined, polite and courteous to all colleagues at all times
- Follow up on further payment from in house guests
- Perform any other additional duties and responsibilities when requested by the management
