Attend staff daily briefing
Sell, register and assign rooms to incoming guests, ensure those registration cards are properly filed out. Check out departing guests based on established
procedures
Sell rooms according to the published or corporate rates, otherwise as instructed
Ensure all blanks in the registration forms are filled out completely and accurately
Make sure all check in are prepay or a certain guarantee is collected eg. Credit Card, Cash, Letter of Undertaking or Service Order (Government)
Ensure room key are returned before recording any check out
Handling guest mails, parcel, message, ect.
Establish identity of guest before handling out the mails, parcel, message, ect.
Receive, issue and assume responsibility of all mails, parcel and message in the
information section
Ensure all mails, parcel and message are sent up to the corresponding room
Check against the computer to ascertain guest names and correct room number
Mark (indicate) the guest room numbers on the parcel, mail and message
