Job Description


Job Responsibility
  • Software Skills
    • Render assistance to walk-in customer who has problems with Apps, setups, loading applications, system hang-ups, etc.
    • Understand the different fault causes among (a) environmental factor, (b) hardware factor (c) software and (d) operational
    • Understand Malwares, intrusion, phishing, viruses. Usage of antivirus.

  • Communications & Networking
    • Assist with the device setup controls on network connections:
    • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, wired access
    • Internet access: DNS, IP addressing, URL, etc.
    • Software updates

  • Customer Services
    • Correspond with customers via email, phone, WhatsApp, etc. to follow up to on repairs for same-day collection cases.
    • Visit e-learning website to do self-paced courses (If necessarily although training is provided.)

  • Diagnosis, Fault Finding & Solutions
    • Provide first level screening and fault analysis. If the problem is hardware, recommend solutions.
    • Diagnose, isolate the fault(s) and recommend the solution to the customer.

Job Requirements
  • Familiar with smart phone application.
  • Good communication skills to explain technical issues in layman's terms to customers.
  • Fluent in English. Good conversation skills in other local languages (Mandarin, Tamil or Bahasa Malaysia) is an advantage.
  • Good organizational skills, manage paperwork well,  comply with process workflow.
  • Adaptable to working long and flexible hours, if required.
  • Able to comply with QCD procedures and follow duty roster if work days fall on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Courteous and patient, particularly to older customers who have more issues with technical problems.
  • High level of trust, discipline and integrity are required to steer clear of bribes or rendering favour in exchange for monetary gain.
  • Good personal grooming with good time management.
