Job ResponsibilityPosition summary and objective:
- Responsible for the overall effective performance and efficiency of the department which is broadly classified into the following main areas.
Accounting and Reporting Process
- To prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Assure the proper recording of business transactions so that the financial statements of the business are accurate and timely.
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and any government agencies.
- Ensure accuracy and timely reporting in the format required by our major shareholders.
- Lead the preparation of necessary financial analysis (BS, P&L, Cash Flow, Margin, AR, AP etc)
- Preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
Administrative/Organizational
- Oversees operations of the Finance Department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met in accordance to the company's requirements.
- Responsible for the financial operations of each outlet.
- Oversees and manages the department to meet the deadline and goals.
- To manage and execute the full spectrum of the Finance Department's responsibilities.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- To attend periodic tax audit, company secretary requirements and statutory reporting and field audits.
- Process and work flow improvement from time to time.
Job Requirements- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree or Professional qualification in Accountancy with at least 2 to 3 years of post qualified working experience.
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience from a medium size audit firm and well versed with group accounts consolidation and tax planning.
- Possess high level of communication and analytical skill.
- An organized and detailed minded person with good sense of responsibility.
- Excellent team player with an eye for details and positive attitude.
- Knowledge in SAP software and SST legislation will be an added advantage.
