Job ResponsibilityA. Administrative
1. Provides administrative support in inpatient/outpatient management to ensure the daily smooth operations of the department.
2. Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
B. Clinical
1. Assists and supports nurses / therapist / doctors in provision of direct and indirect care to the patient in a professional manner according to the established procedures, policies and standards.
2. Performs physical activities for patient care such as ambulatory/transfer functional activities, daily-living activities and in using supportive devices as per treatment instructions from the therapist.
3. Performs basic physiotherapy such as chest physiotherapy, suctioning and exercising patient according to doctor's order.
4. Record all clinical records timely and accurately.
5. Ensure accurate documentation according to policies and procedures.
6. Assists in transporting patient for investigation and treatment to/from designated area as specified.
7. Assists in transporting clinical items / documents to/from designated area as specified.
8. Organizes and ensure complete patient records upon dispatching to Medical Records Department.
9. Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
10. Demonstrates ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner.
