Job Responsibilityo Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
o Identify potential welding problems and rectify them on time.
o Undertake any other duties as and when assigned by superior.
o Develop welding techniques, procedures and application of welding equipment to problems involving fabrication of metals, utilising knowledge of production specifications, properties and characteristics of metals and alloys and engineering principles.
o Established welding procedures to guide production and welding personnel relating to specification, restriction, material processes, pre and post-heating requirements which involve use complex alloys, unusual fabrication methods, welding of critical joints and complex post-heating requirements.
o Evaluate new developments in the welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes.
o Actively participate in the lean manufacturing initiatives, monitoring production quality indicators and initiating improvement methods.
o Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
o Highly experience on TIG/MIG welding process or technique.
o Relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication, knowledge on steel fabrication is a MUST.
o Knowledge in sheet metal fabrication machineries such as laser/fiber laser, press brake bending, turret punch, shearing, TIG/MIG & welding machine.
o Knowledge on aluminium welding will be an added advantage.
o Able to work independently.
o Able to understand machine basic operation.
o Poses valid driving, preferable with GDL.
o Able to read and understand English and Bahasa Melayu.
o Applicants should be Malaysian citizens who are able to start work immediately.
o Positive working attitude, punctual to work.
o 6 working days per week.
