Job ResponsibilityPreferred additional qualification: CSWIP Welding Inspector (3.1), PCN WI.
Having basic understanding of welding techniques, welding positions, welding consumables, weld preparations and able to read welding requirement from drawing.
Able to visually inspect welded constructions and identify any welding imperfections present.
Able to use welding inspection gauges and other commonly used measuring devices to check pre-weld fits ups and post-weld profiles.
Keep updated welding documents latest in workshop.
Perform audit on workshop to maintain quality system effective.
Follow up on repair activity.
Visual Inspection of completed welds.
