Responsible for the implementation safety, health and environment policy in the company as well as compliance with the statutory requirements, etc
Key Responsibilities
o Responsible for the implementation of the safety, health and environment policy and procedure so that employees have a safe and healthy working environment.
o Ensure company compliance of local statutory bodies requirements for safety, health and environment and laws with all current and future policies and standards.
o Consistently conduct safety audits and on-site inspections. Follow-up with the relevant reports to support the audit / inspection.
o Identify workplace hazards such as unsafe equipment, machines, work process, work practice and working conditions.
o Record and investigate incidents to determine causes
o Educate and train the organization's workforce on ESH.
o As the Secretary to the Safety and Health Committee Meeting.
o Recommend to Management on the changes to ensure organization operates in a safe and healthy working environment and complies with all current safety policies, regulations and laws
o Any other duties which may be required by management from time to time.
