Job Responsibilityo Responsible for planning and implementing warehouse processes, operations and technology.
o Supervise daily activities of warehouse operations.
o Provide technical support to warehousing operations, ensures the safe reception, storage, distribution and reporting of movements within the warehouse.
o Works closely with the Logistics Coordinator & is involved in the planning of stock movements.
o Financial responsibility for daily operational needs (petty cash) including payment of daily workers, purchases of consumables & other related operational costs.
o Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods
o Managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods
o Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
o Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
o Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
o Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
o Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
o Ensures standard warehousing documents are filled in correctly and handed over in a timely manner.
o Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
o Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds and securing the warehouse.
