Job Responsibility
Job Description:
? Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies
? Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
? Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
? Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
? Manage stock control and reconcile with inventory system
? Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
? Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
? Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity and quality
? Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
? Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
? Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
Requirements:
? Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a relevant field with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry
? Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
? Can work under cold and wet environment
? Willing to work shift
? ? Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
? Leadership skills and ability manage staff
? Strong decision making and problem solving skills
? Troubleshooting skills
? Excellent communication skills
? Experience in managing a team
? Proficient in MS Office
? Able to multi task and take on additional job scope as need arise
