Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities
o Coordinating with shipping agents for import and export shipments, including delivery, customs clearance processes, shipping's rules & regulations.
o Monitor daily export and import shipping operation, ensure logistics operations is compliance with trade regulation & procedure and to confirm all the confirm shipment are smooth and in timely basic.
o To review and compare transportation / shipping costs from different vendors, ensure that the outgoing shipment is accurate and well packaged, track shipments and ensure delivery.
o Accountable for all export and import custom documentation, transportation and freight for export and import shipment.
o Supervise closely with warehouse department for timely distribution.
o Arrange shipments according to requirements and liaise with the internal department to ensure shipments are being handled promptly and delivered on-time.
o Performing price negotiation with shipping lines to get a better rate.
o Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistic systems, import & export.
o Responsible to review, interpret, evaluate and suggest recommendations on the delivery, shipping terms and conditions and other relevant service providers / suppliers.
o Responsible for smooth handling of supply and logistics matters in daily operation.
o To handle and troubleshoot any issue related to shipments independently.
o Undertake any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements
o Candidate must possess minimum SPM or equivalent.
o Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
o Computer literate: Microsoft Office.
o Fluent speaking and writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia, ability to converse in Mandarin is an advantage.
o Applicant must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
