Job ResponsibilityJob Summary:
The technical engineer is responsible for the technical related planning and execution throughout the project lifecycle, including gathering and understanding, planning, design, development, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting processes. Also working closely with technical lead, project manager, and vendor to ensure the smooth delivery of the project
Responsibilities:
o Able to provide technical leadership, coordination and support to infrastructure / hardware related work streams - such as installation, configuration, maintenance & upgrades
o Supporting the engineering team during planning, design, development, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.
o Analyzing existing systems and operations and developing preventative maintenance strategies.
o Identifying potential problems and notifying the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
o Monitoring processes, workers, and methods, and developing plans for increased efficiency.
o Conducting required research and developing best practices.
o Coordinating with other Engineers and crew members to ensure quality products are completed on schedule.
o Performing quality control on all projects, writing reports, and making recommendations for improvement.
o Will work under the guidance of the PM/Architect/Technical Lead.
o Conduct project risk identification and mitigation action planning with the project manager
Merits:
o Minimum of 3 years' experience as a technical role related
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
o Technical background, with experience in MySQL, ETL, QlikSense and Unix programming
o Knowledge in Telco industry and AWS cloud environment e.g. Vertica, Talend, Voltage will be an advantage
