Job Responsibility
We are the only Company with the Expertise on the Entire Test Cell and Inspection.
As a Vision Software Engineer, you will be working with a team of young and dynamic engineers ready to face challenges every day to design, build and deliver technical and business solutions to meet our semiconductor and PCB industry customer requirements.
You will play an important role in:
oUnderstand client requirements for vision inspection and create specifications based on these requirements.
oConduct feasibility studies based on such requirements.
oDesign and develop vision software application based on given requirements and specifications.
oTest and qualify such applications (both internally and at client site).
oSupport and train clients and Cohu engineers on such applications.
oAny tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
oMust provide a minimum of Bachelors from a recognized school, university or technical program; related to an applied science, electronics, and mechanical, electro-mechanical engineering, computer engineering or similarly related field. Master degree holder in related field or higher is highly encouraged to apply.
oStrong knowledge in C#, .NET and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts is a must.
oExperience in web development with skills in HTML, Typescript, Angular, Node.js, css, docker is an added advantage.
oKnowledge in Python and experience in machine learning framework (eg: Pytorch, TensorFlow) is an added advantage.
oExperience in image processing application with sound knowledge of camera, optics and lighting is an added advantage.
oFamiliarity with the semiconductor manufacturing process and the industry is an added advantage.
oMinimum 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred.
oMust be able to clearly speak and write in English.
oSharp problem solving skills and self-motivated.
oDedicated and able to handle projects under reasonable pressure.
oAbility to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
oOccasional traveling will be required around 10%, domestic and international.
