TITEL: TEST ANALYST

RESPONSIBILITIES
o Ensure the test process is in line with the agreed Test Strategy
o Take an active role in the test team, covering multiple areas of functionality
o Perform requirement and test basis review
o Prepare test scenarios and test cases (both automated and manual) ensuring enough detail is included to prove during test execution that the designed solution meets the requirements
o Take an active role in peer review of test scenarios and test cases of the test team and ensure the quality of test cases is to high standards
o Identify test data needs for project testing
o Execute tests as specified, analyze and record accurate results
o Ensure the defect process is correctly followed
o Support ODC test manager/ lead to publishing metrics for incorporation in weekly/ milestone status reports
o Suggest improvements in the test process
o Take ownership of testing quality
REQUIREMENTS
o Test role in teams working on multiple concurrent test projects, with experience of working with different project resources (e.g. BA's, developers)
o Excellent functional and system testing skills
o At least 4 years of experience in testing
o ISTQB certified
o Knowledge and experience in agile testing and working in a scrum team
o Experienced in using SQL and creating basic SQL queries to verify test results and simple test data setup
o Excellent understanding of Test design techniques and when to implement them (including the black box)
o Strong experience in test cases/scenarios and requirement reviews
o Test automation - using Selenium and Spec flow. Katalon knowledge is the added advantage
o Ability to adapt/change testing course to suit project needs and timescale
o Experience working with large complex data
o Pro-active and self-motivating attitude
o Ability to understand technical designs and documents
o A challenging and enquiring mind with attention to detail
o Excellent oral and written English communication skills
DESIRABLE (MANUAL EXPERIENCE WITH TEST AUTOMATION IS REQUIRED)
o Experience with MS Azure DevOps
o Experience within utilities or similar sector
o Experience working in Onsite-Offshore testing model
o Experience in CRM/Billing product testing is added advantage
