Job Description
Job Responsibility
Maintain and monitor the OC monitoring systems, perform zero and first level of troubleshooting, translate proper alarms connection and produce service impact analysis and logs update for all trouble tickets regardless of severity within the time frame.
Defined proper processes and reporting principles in the Network Fault Handling Procedures (NFHP).
Achieve the highest accuracy of information in the trouble tickets to avoid duplication, misunderstanding or inaccurate escalation to the field teams.
Operationalize the Enterprise leased line customers' complaints done in a proper and professional manner and provides the update to the customers on a regular basis to ensure highest customer satisfaction.
Translate and operationalize the working slip/Planned Maintenance according to the guideline in the network's FHP and performs proper tracking of the activity until the work slip is closed
Maintain and Monitor trouble ticket/issues with the International Service Partners/Bandwidth Providers/Vendors/OLNOs/Manage Services Partners and are done via the proper channels until the TT/Issue is resolved.
Maintain and Monitor a 24x7x365 proper shift handover according to the given guideline via the issuance of a complete and accurate Shift Surveillance Log.
Translate and operationalize the information security compliance initiatives & requirements and perform duties as per the policies, standard and procedures.
Perform network provisioning for IP assignment, core network configuration, DNS setup, monitoring and graphing for leased lines, customer backup and other customer network services
Fault handling and escalation, identifying and responding to faults on TOC systems and networks, liaising with 3rd party suppliers, handling escalation through to resolution- NOC to NOC communication
Manage and monitor the performance and availability of Workforce Management (WFM) tool- Dashboard performance update
Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident
Perform Daily/Weekly/ Monthly report
Manage customers networks and power systems
War Room Coordinator
Dashboard performance update
Customer support help desk services
Business Continuity Management (BCM)
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
Extensive experience working as an NOC Engineer.
Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures.
Knowledge of server hardware systems including Dell Blade, UCS, and HP systems.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced project management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
