Job Responsibility1. Repairs and services all mechanical and electrical equipment, i.e. laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, pumps, compressors, fan, air-conditioning equipment, chiller cooling towers, cold room, sound system, audio visual equipment, electrical installation, fire alarm system, fridge, drainage, clear chokes and paints equipment.
2. Repairs and services all mechanical and electrical equipment in the guest room i.e. furniture, ceiling, tiles, wallpaper, carpet, locks, curtain rails, door hinges, door closures, etc.
3. Hanging banners and any decorative items as required.
4. Repairs/replaces sanitary fittings, toilet bowl, valves, etc.
5. Fabricates metal structures and brackets.
6. Services and maintains drainage, inclusive of clearing chokes.
7. Carries out daily checks on all mechanical and electrical installations and to ensure that they are in working order.
8. Assists to carry out regular testing of generator and fire alarm system.
9. Responsible for the maintenance of emergency generator, generator batteries as well as for cleanliness of the machine and its area.
10. Record down meter readings in order to maintain or calculate the daily consumption.
11. Backwashes water filters and swimming pool filters.
12. Endeavours general cleaning jobs.
13. Conducts regular check of lubricating oil level, oil pumps, fuel pumps, oil heater, and air filters, terminals, starters and other accessories being made.
14. Ensures all batteries are regularly checked for distilled water level, voltage, and correct charging current and terminal connection.
15. Record all jobs done, spare parts utilise and recommendations ( if applicable ) on the job maintenance sheet and to submit all reports on the same day.
16. Participates actively in all fire drills and be well versed with evacuation procedures.
17. Attends meetings and training whenever required.
18. Carries out shift duties, split shifts or when called upon to perform odd duties whenever a person of the same category fall sick, is on vacation or absent from duties and/or as called upon to do so from time to time as directed by the Supervisor.
19. Assists in the up keeping of stores inventories, receiving and arrangement of stores.
20. Erects scaffoldings.
21. Perform duties common to all rank and file personnel and other duties as may be required in case of emergencies.
