Job Requirements:
* Diploma or equivalent with successful completion of and chemistry is required
* 1-2 years' experience in an Industrial Coating / Paint Manufacturing Plant will be advantage
* Good verbal, written, and basic computer and mathematical skills
* Lab experience is a plus
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
- Able to handle daily documentations and filing
- Tested paint, coating and diluent before distributed the sample to customers. The test involved colour matching, hiding power, adhesion, weather resistance etc.
- Conduct research on new or existing paint formulas.
- Propose new paint formula with minimal budget but satisfy and follow customer requirements.
- Monitoring and make sure that QEMS are apply on every aspect that are related in company.
- Prepare paint samples for wet laboratory testing, perform drawdown and spray applications, and complete color evaluations.
- Prioritize, coordinate, and execute work to produce paint formulation
- Responsible for the preparation of coating samples and testing of paint
- Operates laboratory testing equipment
- Responsible for the preparation and sprays application of panels. Collects data
- Communicates discrepancies to Technical Team or Chemists
- Conducts other sample tests as specified by customer
- Utilize appropriate safety methods, cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment
