Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities:
o Participates and cooperate in all OSH activities organized by the management.
o To attend all OHS training when requested.
o To report all accident/incidents within 24 hrs.
o To report all unsafe acts and unsafe conditions to immediate superior immediately.
o Ensure adherence to OHSMS requirements
o Ensure adherence to organization rules and regulations
o Accountable for personal safety and health matters & action that causing safety and health matters to fellow workers
o Conduct basic daily quality control operation and non-routine tests by abiding to the standard operating procedures to ensure timely and accurate results are obtained and reported (in logsheet & LIMS) so that quality status is clearly defined.
o Conduct standard reference check, repeatability & reproducibility as instructed by chemist
o Support OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001 management systems to ensure compliance to company and department objectives.
Requirements:
o Minimum Diploma or Professional Certificate in Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering and related field.
o Basic knowledge of chemical and physical testing.
o Able to write and communicate in simple English.
