Job Description:
Monitor and assist WTPs in laboratory aspect to ensure WTP's laboratory operating in good
condition
1. Responsible to carry out calibration and verification of laboratory equipment at WTPs as per
schedule.
2. Responsible to ensure WTPs implementing good housekeeping for laboratory condition
including equipment and recommend improvement where required.
3. Responsible to conduct assessment on condition and efficiency of WTPs laboratory.
4. Responsible to attend laboratory equipment breakdown, ensure Laboratory Breakdown
Notice submitted and closed
5. Conduct assessment on downloaded data at lab equipment
Monitor and report performance of Process & Water Quality aspect at Region
1. Carry out treated water reservoir sampling program for reservoirs and clear water tank as per
schedule.
2. Responsible to ensure all WTPs water quality data submitted, review & check accordingly in
monthly basis
3. To plan, conduct and prepare filter assessment for filters at NRO WTPs
4. Responsible to assist Process Engineer / Operation Engineer to conduct a study for
betterment of process and water quality at reasonable operation cost.
5. Responsible to attend unscheduled plant shutdown due to raw water pollution and assist
WTP to expedite plant start up
6. To compile any calibration certificate for lab equipment at WTPs, ensure recalibration done
within the dateline and distribute copy of certificates to WTPs
7. Responsible to assist WTP on monitoring effluent water quality in order to comply with
regulation
Assist WTP' staffs to enhance knowledge in water quality, laboratory equipment, and process
systems are update and maintain accordingly as per company policy
1. Responsible to ensure all documentation related with water quality, laboratory equipment and
process systems is update and maintain accordingly as per company policy
2. Responsible to provide assistance and guidance to all plant personnel on upgrade of
knowledge on water treatment, process control, laboratory services and safety with objective
to improve productivity
Adherence of Safety & Health according Company's policy and requirement
1. Responsible for adherence of compliance to relevant HSE rules, regulations procedures
Adhere to company policy and procedure on safety matters
To carry out any task as directed by the superior
Compliance with Air Selangor Management Systen (AIMS)
1. Adhere to AIMS policy at all times where relevant to participate in the management system
initiative
2. To ensure the objectives are established in the management system, in line with to context
and direction of the strategic organization.
3. Communicate the importance of effectiveness of management system and it needs
4. To ensure that management system is implemented effectively and updated; and
5. Assist main coordinator for related case in Emergency Response Plan (ERP), Business
Continuity Plan (BCP) during crisis / emergency.
