Job ResponsibilityThe Facilities Technician will be responsible for performing routine facility maintenance tasks that are in one or more fields such as building management system, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, heating and all related work for building repairs. The Facilities Technician will report to the Facilities Senior Technician.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY/ROLE DESCRIPTIONS
o Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems.
o Maintain and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management systems and building repairs.
o Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.
o Monitor and supervise scheduled preventive maintenance contractors at facility.
o Respond to any emergencies in facility.
o Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in facility and recommend actions to be taken.
o Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS System, firefighting system, elevator/escalator system and other systems in the facility.
o Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
o Support any afterhours facility needs and activities as required.
o Attend other assigned tasks as requested.
o Provide a high-quality standard and professional service to all customers.
