Job ResponsibilitySummary:
Technical Product Manager - Marketing Platforms leads the product management team, to embark on a full product lifecycle from concept until launch. He/She is the primary driver of Digi's business ambition for products, channels and platform; overseeing the development and management of the product platform roadmap based on the adopted strategies and vision. This position requires that a person closely work with the technology, product design, partnerships, data analytics, business development, operations and other support function departments to deliver the products into the market. He/She will be required to own, manage and contribute directly to the overall vision and strategy roadmap for the products/channels/platforms under his/her care.
Responsibilities:
o Manages a team of Product Managers, and ensures that the functions of this team are properly effectively being executed;
o Oversees the innovation and improvement of the business' product/channels/platforms as well as the day-to-day activities in such a way that ensures that the products/channels/platforms are constantly growing to suit the consumers' needs;
o Responsible for leading the product management team to plan, design, develop, test, launch and optimise throughout the product lifecycle
o Must be capable of analysing customer technology & demands, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis;
o Ensures that necessary steps are being taken to make any modifications that are being made in the product or strategy in order to bring out the best results for the business;
o Must be able to perform the product analysis, analyze the competitors' strategies/operation and suggest the product roadmap in the responsible area market;
o Leading the team to develop the product documents, including but not limited to, product description, use cases and commercial proposals;
o Essentially responsible for identifying opportunities that lead to the growth of the Company's products through innovation while still maintaining the fundamental business goals/priorities;
o Works closely with the various departments: marketing, technology, finance, enterprise business, and other divisions to deliver the company's product into the market;
o Responsible for spearheading investigation and analyses on the product and the product market. He/She is expected to process this information, identify opportunities, and present these to the senior leadership team for validation to ensure alignment to overall business strategy;
o Serve as a product subject matter expert to the technical/developer community. Able to answer incoming questions raised about the product and its capabilities
Merits:
o Bachelor's degree in computer science / Information Technology / Engineer or any other related degrees;
o Experience in software development;
o Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering technical products/projects in multi-functional teams consisting of Program Managers, Product Managers, Developers and Business Owners;
o Experience in either leading or working with Agile methodologies;
o Experience in developing products from end to end i.e. production, requirements gatherings, stakeholder management and working with engineering to deliver teams vision and goal.
