Job Responsibility1. Check station assigned, prior to opening, for cleanliness of the table and chair, proper set-up of salt and paper, sugar bowl, ashtray, clean cutlery and glassware.
2. Have necessary equipment to work with: tray, pen, bus towel, corkscrew, etc.
3. Do all necessary opening and closing side work as per schedule.
4. Be aware of daily special Food & Beverage promotion and '86' Item.
5. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take appropriate action to correct any complaints or requests.
6. Be knowledge of all menu item, be prepared to answer any quest question about the menu.
7. Take food and beverage orders from the quest on the order taking pads or on the handheld Point of Sale (POS) system.
8. Be able to station assigned to you. Remain at your station, unless serving a quest.
9. Follow procedures to take quest's order, write legibly on check, order and pick up food and Beverage.
10. Be sure that the table is properly bussed throughout the meal.
11. Prepare a bill that is itemized and includes the total meal costs and sales taxes.
12. Serve ordered items to customers.
13. Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food and utensils.
14. When quest leave the dining room, bus all table with attention to the following area and clean the table also free set-up for new quest.
15. Work with restaurant staff.
16. Train new restaurant employees on the restaurant's culture and practices.
