Job Responsibility Teacher -Special Needs
-Teaching either individuals or small groups of students within or outside the class;
-Preparing lessons and resources;
-Marking and assessing work;
-Developing and adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students;
-Liaising closely with parents or guardians;
-Organizing learning outside the classroom in activities such as community visits, school outings or sporting events;
-Assisting in severely disabled student's personal care / medical needs;
-Administration, including updating and maintaining records on students' progress;
-Attending team meeting and regular meeting, which may involve reviewing statements of individual education programme;
-Receiving in-service training.
Job Requirements:
-Minimum SPM qualification.
-SPM school leavers are encouraged to apply
- Must have patience and a nurturing attitude to teach and train children with various learning disabilities between the ages of six to twelve years.
-Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
-Willing to work five and half days per week. Only full time positions are available.
