Job ResponsibilityJob Responsibilities:
o To provide guidance and troubleshooting via phone call and remote support if necessary.
o To standby for Helpdesk L1 escalation or Onsite cases and work closely with 3rd party vendors.
o Perform call and remote troubleshooting of reported issues and also perform proper escalation when necessary, based on SLA and WLA.
o Accurately and concisely capture and document issues as well as information gathered and troubleshooting outcomes in the relevant tracking systems and guides.
o Follow up closely on issues logged with respective parties to ensure remedy, and resolution is provided to the client.
o Establish technical guidelines, standards, and technical presentations based on customer needs and engineering research.
o Produce project documentation such as technical reports, system architecture, process flow, operation manual, and preparation of design specifications according to industrial/customers' requirements.
o Perform setup, integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the system.
o Implementation & Configuration of VMWare, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Lyn Server, Microsoft System Center
o Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Job Requirement:
o Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
o Minimum 2 years experience in a related field
o Possessed good written & communication skills / interpersonal skills are essential.
o Ability to manage and prioritize multiple problems and issues.
o Willing to travel for business purposes.
o Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-based systems.
o Experience creating scripts (e.g. using Python etc) and setting up software for automation.
o Exceptional knowledge of networking technologies.
o Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
o Good communication skills Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
o Good written and verbal communication skills.
