Job Responsibility? Administer the cloud system through patches, user permissions and security configurations in accordance to business and regulatory requirements
? Ensure security through network hardening, access controls and firewalls
? Monitor, analyse and optimise network performance and resource utilisation
? Evaluate and implement new cloud solutions and technologies to increase capacity, performance, security and reliability of our cloud infrastructure
? Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
? Ensure that appropriate measures are proactively followed in response to unforeseen issues such as downtime or zero-day exploits
? Adhere to established best practices, procedures and guidelines and ensure audit compliance with industry standards (e.g. PCI-DSS)
. ? Keep up with the latest skills and knowledge in the administration of cloud infrastructure
Requirements
? Preferably a Degree/ Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or a degree in STEM
? At least 1 year experience in administering databases, network design and cloud infrastructure
? Certification or experience with any public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) is highly desirable
? Passionate fresh graduates that have completed relevant university modules are encouraged to apply.
? Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously in a fast paced environment
? Self-motivated and ability to work independently or in a team. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Good oral and written communication skills
? Knowledge/ Experience with PCI DSS certification is advantageous
? Knowledge/ Experience in Nginx, Tomcat, IIS, SQL Server, ELK Stack, Docker is advantageous
? Knowledge/ Experience in DevOps such as CI/CD is advantageous
? Knowledge/ Experience with any programming language, preferably Java, Javascript, Python and C# is advantageous
