Job Responsibility1. To performs a variety of general purchasing support tasks in a purchasing department
2. Responsible for the ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities that could generate more cost saving for the company.
3. Working closely with cross-functional teams for cost control and recommend purchasing process improvements.
4. Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the company.
5. Responsible to process purchase orders in the MRP/ERP system.
6. Handle import trade and to comply with statutory rules and regulations.
7. Monitor and coordinate delivery and ensure a minimum safety stock level is kept at all time for production and etc.
8. Responsible for the store operation for the factory in accordance with company policies and procedures.
9. Supervise the store personnel and ensure an effective and efficient store management (included goods receives, storages and goods issuances).
10. Maintain and upkeep a good vendor management system.
11. Source for new parts, materials, services or suppliers when the need arises.
12. Perform in a purchase, delivery planning, delivery control and stock control of materials.
13. Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample request, pricing and etc.
14. Participate in purchasing reports preparation.
15. Perform data analysis for improvements in purchasing and store operation.
16. Participate in monthly purchasing ranking
17. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
18. To undertake any other ad hoc duties/task/projects assigned by the Immediate Superior, General Manager and above when required.
