Job ResponsibilityMaintain all invoices, debit notes and credit notes for our trade suppliers and ensure they are updated in system on timely manner
Perform reconciliation of accounts balances with statement of accounts
Perform weekly Bank Reconciliation on the related banks and follow up on the transaction.
Ensure timely payment processing to all trade suppliers
Maintain proper communication with trade suppliers in finance aspects
Identify and investigate unusual transactions, trends or variation and communicate findings to line manager
Enhance process efficiency and control effectiveness, ensuring compliance across region
Ensure compliance with local regulations (IFRS, Companies Act, direct and indirect tax)
Preparation of trade financing documentation for importation of goods
Recording of all trade / non- trade entries into accounting system
Ensure proper recording of monthly staff claims.
Work closely with AR and GL department. Work cross department with commercial team and IT (process improvements and reports required by management).
Perform interbank fund transfer.
Request bi-weekly trade financing breakdown from bankers.
Liaise and negotiate with treasury to ensure best rate for payment transactions.

Job Requirement:
Minimum Degree qualification in Banking/Finance/Accounting
At least 3 - 5 years in the relevant or similar industry and business acumen
Resourceful, result-oriented and work well under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
Ability to work independently and yet be a team player
Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of applicable AP, GL and Microsoft Dynamics GP systems and procedures
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
