Job ResponsibilityThe DB Development team is responsible for the backend systems and processes that support other application teams and operational transactions. This team provides support by creating new code, logic, and processes. This team will also review other teams code for review.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
o Troubleshoot production issues and identify solutions
o Create database objects such as tables, views, database tuning / optimization
o Analyze requirements and design technical solutions based on business requirements
o Ensure the code quality and performance tuning on database systems/applications
o Work with complex data sets and write SQL code, design stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints
o Work with QA team to coordinate testing by providing test cases then reviewing results
o Take part in team discussions of design of database solutions and data modeling
OUR TECHNOLOGIES:
o SQL Server, T-SQL, Azure, Redgate, Visual Studio .Net, C#, Visual Basic.
BONUS POINTS FOR THESE:
o Experience in UI, data warehousing experience, prior financial industry experience
SKILL:
o Strong abilities with database design, access, and usage.
o Strong experience with TSQL, SQL, MS Reporting Services, MS Analysis Services, MS Access, and SQL Server
o Must have good knowledge of business applications including reporting for financial systems and accounting
o Knowledge of financial transactions and accounting
o Knowledge of the foreign exchange markets is a plus
WHAT YOU HAVE:
o 2-5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
o Understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
o Experience with GIT, Azure, TFS or similar.
o Experience troubleshooting and investigating production issues.
o Autonomous thinking and proactive approach to investigating and discovering solutions.
o A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited university.
