Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities
o Conduct software testing activities such as test implementation & execution and test reporting
o Communicate between testing team members regarding any issues reported/raised
o Perform functional and regression testing
o Supporting multiple test projects and releases to scale up product delivery
o Identify, record, track and thoroughly document bugs
o Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
o Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
o Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
o Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
o Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
o Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
o Monitor debugging process results
o Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
o Proven work experience in software development
o Proven work experience in software testing (Manual)
o Strong knowledge of software manual testing methodologies, tools and processes
o Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
o Hands-on experience with Manual testing
o Solid knowledge of SQL/MSSQL and scripting
o Solid knowledge of Bugzilla or Jira
o Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
o Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
o Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
o At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
o Good knowledge of ALM testing tool.
