Job ResponsibilityJob Scope:
o Defining, maintain and verifying Willowglen System Assurance Management processes and tools.
o Manage project RAMS requirements from Inception to the Final Quality Approval.
o Decide of method of safety & RAMS assurance to be applied on the project, in accordance with Willowglen safety policy and the project's relevant standards (CENELEC, IEC etc).
o Manages the Project Hazard Log and the closure (resolution) of pending evidence/mitigations
o Carries out the Safety & RAM Analysis at project level.
o Make Design recommendations based on RAM studies and verify adequacy of architecture choices to system RAM targets.
o Establish the System/Software Safety Case, integrating the Safety Cases of the participating Units, and ensure its completeness and acceptance.
o Convince Customer/Authority/Partners/Consultants/Independent Safety Assessors of Willowglen approach and methodology for safety management & safety demonstration.
Requirements:
o Candidate should possess a least a Bachelor of Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent.
o Minimum 5 years of related working experience and track record in RAMS/Safety Engineer in Railways or within different industries such as Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Defence, or any relevant field involving safety.
o Knowledge and application of safety CENELEC and IEC Standards in Railway ISCS/ICSS System.
o Experience in safety application principles such as ALARP, SFAIRP and SIL allocation would be highly desirable.
o Ability to product safety analyses and documentation such as PHA, SHA, IHA, OSHA, FTA and Safety Case of railways ISCS/ICSS system.
o Good communications skills with all levels, approach discussion/negotiation with the objective of achieving a win-win outcome.
o Curious, rigorous, and not afraid to get into the details to get issues solved.
o Proactive and sense of urgency.
o Excellent in Microsoft Office & MS Excel skills.
