Job Responsibilityo To co-ordinate and liaise with internal departments and freight forwarders/transporters to ensure smooth operation for import & export shipments and local deliveries.
o Ensure proper documentations (Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificate of Origin, Health Certificates, Bill of Lading etc.) are prepared timely by relevant departments/parties for all import and export shipments.
o Monitor shipping schedule of all import & export shipments and ensure timely update to relevant authorities (e.g. MAQIS).
o Administration on application and renewal of import & export licenses, MITI costing, custom duty exemptions and sales tax exemptions.
o Liaise with Custom Malaysia, MITI, LKIM, MAQIS and any other relevant government authorities on updates of rules and regulation that may affect the Group's import and export shipments.
o Assist in negotiation of freight rates / forwarding cost with related parties.
o To liaise with local transporters for the delivery of finished goods by land to local customers (Malaysia/ Singapore)
o Review all incoming letter of credit including LC drafts for compliance
o Support Ad-hoc tasks designated by Superior / Management
