As a fast-growing company, we are looking to hire a full time Sheeter Operator cum Warehouse Assistant to be based at our headquarter warehouse in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
Job Responsibilities
o To operate the sheeting machine (single-knife or double-knife) according to job sheet to
cut roll stock to required sheet size.
o To maintain sheeting machine to ensure smooth production (preventive maintenance).
o To monitor the production runs to ensure quality and smooth running.
o To follow production schedules and optimise the usage of the machine for maximum
output without compromising quality.
o To record the production output per day.
o To troubleshoot when machine breaks down.
o Ensure all daily dashboards, housekeeping and check lists are completed accordingly.
o Ensure finished goods are not piled under the knife blade at the end of shift.
o Keep machine area clean and tidy all the time.
o Support daily warehouse activities for goods receiving, arrangement, picking, unloading
containers and load items for delivery.
o Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are consistent against the delivery order or
packing list.
o Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times.
o To operate and ensure proper maintenance of the forklift.
o To immediately advise the Warehouse Executive of any deterioration or damage of goods.
o To perform other duties as requested by the Warehouse Executive/ Manager from time to
time.
Job Requirements:
o Candidate must have completed at least PMR/PT3 or equivalent.
o Candidate with basic knowledge of running a paper sheeting machine (single-knife or
double-knife) will be a bonus.
o Candidate has experience driving forklift.
o Candidate must be willing to work overtime during busy seasons or to cover absences.
Overtime pay will be compensated.
o Candidate has problem solving skills when issues arise relating to the production runs.
o Attentive to details, self-starter with a high level of initiative, strong sense of urgency.
o Punctual, trustworthy and responsible individual with good working attitude.
o Independent and able to work well in a team.
o Good command of English & Malay (spoken)
