1. Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years' experience in serving automation and/or vision equipment.
2. Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years' experience in servicing automation and/or vision equipment.
3. Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutionbased service process. Established good relationship with customers.
4. Use technology to resolve issues. Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment.
5. Experience in troubleshooting and responding to customer requirements.
6. Good analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues in easy understand manner.
7. Maintain positive outlook at work. Can handle criticism and learn from it.
8. Adapts to changing circumstances. Can meet new or changing demands of job.
Description of Job Duties:
1. Setting up vision modules, automation equipment, jigs and fixtures by performing hardware configuration, adjustment, alignment, fine tuning and calibration.
2. Setting up vision modules, automation equipment, jigs and fixtures by performing software
configuration, calibration, recipe and process program settings.
3. Test and debug vision modules, automation equipment, jigs and fixtures.
4. Assure product quality by performing test and check according to QA (Quality Assurance) Protocol before releasing product for shipment.
5. Involve in assembly and wiring of vision modules, automation equipment, jigs and fixtures.
6. Involve in cleaning, packing and crating activities for products shipping out from factory.
7. Perform installation, setup, buyoff & commissioning of new equipment at customer's site in Malaysia or overseas.
8. Provide product training to customer in TT Vision premises and customer's site.
9. Pursue deep product knowledge by working closely with development and production team as well as attending product training.
10. Act as a single point of contact to customer relating to product technical issues.
11. Lead and perform troubleshooting of product issues with assistance of a team of customer and developer by identifying root cause(s).
12. Take full ownership of reported product issues from customer and seeing it through to complete resolution.
13. Advise customer in terms of product operation and application, PM (Preventive Maintenance), spare parts, change request, upgrades and other related sustaining topics within product lifecycle.
14. Prepare for on-call emergency situation during normal office hours/nights/weekend and travel to customer's site in short notice.
15. Handle customer's service and support needs fully and timely.
16. Handle escalation from customer/internal teams relating to technical issues following standard procedures.
17. Deliver service request from customer and scheduled proactive service support.
18. Prepare and submit service report accurately and timely after completion of service jobs.
19. Build and maintain good customer's relation.
20. Assist development team to collect field data as well as providing feedback to potential product issue and improvement opportunities.
21. Assist sales team to identify/highlight potential sales of our products and services.
