Job ResponsibilityZALORA Experience Design is looking for a talented, experienced, and customer focussed Senior UX Designer who likes designing an awesome UX using an insight-based approach. In this role you will:
Spearheaded design efforts in developing products that connect shoppers from inspiration to action.
Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to deliver a tailor-made experience that inspires and guides shoppers through continuous innovation
Champion for the prioritisation of design centred changes, refinements, and improvements.
Be the advocate for shoppers while balancing the needs of cross-functional stakeholders' perspectives.
Collaborate with peer designers and strengthen the design team with your perspective.
Elevate design thinking across the entire company.
Responsibilities:
Design unique experiences to meet category-specific shopper needs and personalize recommendations, campaigns and search alongside product and engineering counterparts. Shape the team's roadmap and goals by providing input from a user's perspective.
Define what important quant and qual data is important from UX research, and integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Collaborate with other UX Designers and Product Managers throughout the design process - from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes.
Deliver a user experience that is consistent with the ZALORA design language.
Transform complex tasks into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use solutions.
Develop cross-platform designs for both web and app experiences.
Work closely with UX Engineers to develop and maintain an efficient developer hand-off providing detailed UI specifications where applicable.
Provide regular, direct and impactful feedback in Design Critiques and otherwise to other designers.
Stay on top of the latest standards, trends, and changes in visual and interaction design.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:
A portfolio of design projects that shows outstanding product design skills for web and mobile platforms.
Demonstrated proficiency with design tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Invision, etc), and familiarity with front-end engineering and/or working with engineers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as desktop and mobile (e.g., Android and iOS).
Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas, goals, and problems in a way that is accessible even to those unfamiliar with the project - and evangelize on their behalf.
Experience leading complex user and metrics-inspired projects in post-purchase experience for e-commerce is a huge plus.
