Job Responsibility- Lead an operation/technical team.
- Ensuring efficient and safe daily operations both of company and chartered third party vessel.
- Attend, supervise and monitor the maintenance and breakdown repairs. Analysis of machinery accidents and failures, prevention recurrence and port-accident operation handling.
- Monitor company's vessels bunker, lubricants and spares consumption and verify ship's Engine and Deck Department spare and store requisitions.
- Preparing vessels dry docking specification, plan and budget. Supervising maintenance and docking Repair on company's vessels.
- Plan, prepare and arrange Class survey/OVID/OSVIS/Pre-Hire Inspection for company's vessel and monitor and ensure vessel certificate valid at all times.
- Evaluate the performance of the engine department staffs and recommending for promotion or training or punishment or termination.
- Conducting periodic inspection prior to inspection by Oil Major Company/Client/Class Society/Mardep in order to comply and adhere to the requirements and regulations. Preparing and submitting close out evidences for the deficiencies.
- Supervise the sub-contractor/ ship yard and crew activities to be followed as per work scope.
