Job Responsibility? Perform and/or support all QS activities such as tendering, contract administration and preparation of project reports.
? Taking off, pricing and submission of tenders.
? Source for subcontractors/ suppliers and guide the Purchasing Executive in procurement.
? Prepare BOQ and tender document/ proposal, pre and post contract administration.
? Attend tender clarification meetings, analyze subcontractors bid submissions and negotiate with selected subcontractors.
? Ensure all subcontracts placed incorporate all relevant contractual information from Main Contract to minimize variations and potential disputes.
? Ensure subcontract orders issued for authorization are free of errors, missing scope or inconsistencies.
? Prepare tender reports and award recommendation.
? Prepare and/or evaluate change orders, review and evaluate progress of work done.
? Carry out Subcontract payment certification.
? Manage timely production of the Main and Subcontract Final Accounts, including re-measurement as necessary to ensure the best result, evaluation and agreement of all variations, extensions of time, loss and expense claims.
? Ensure effective commercial management of contracts to maximize gross margin.
? Perform budget cost planning, interim forecast, monitor and control project cost.
? Prepare project cost reports.
? Prepare project cash flow reports; ensure that cash flow forecasts are accurate and optimized where possible.
? Effective cash management including timely application / certification / invoicing / payment / receipts and careful administration of subcontract accounts.
? Ensure that payments and notices effected in accordance with the subcontract and Construction Act and ensure that any commercial threats or risks to projects are identified.
? Any other may be assigned by the superior / management from time to time
