Job Responsibility
JOB PURPOSE
o Responsible for expediting deliveries of each PO assigned from Material Purchase
Section as per PO contractual delivery date or Required on site date (ROS) with close
monitoring in VDRL movement, coordination in source inspection activities, efficient
and effective communication between external and internal customers ie vendors,
PMT, engineering, quality department etc until client's acceptance. To be exposed as
the Lead Expeditor for future project.
RESPONSIBILITES
o Initiate supply chain plans, strategies, roadmap, initiatives, and procurement tools to
bring down overall costs (example: through involvement in negotiation during bidding
stage) and enhance product/service reliability.
o Review and keep track of budget and utilization and ensure that expenses are within
approved budget.
o Review and keep track performance measurement criteria/ indicators based on
industry best practices and benchmarking to ensure continuous improvement.
o Responsible for business partnering with respective business units in bidding &
commercial process, projects, and other operations with regards to purchase of
materials and services, and material management and logistics solutions.
o Responsible to explore and venture new project opportunity to assist Business
Development team (i.e., customer survey from client).
o Responsible to ensure SCM improvement initiatives achieve divisional excellence
and improve Supply Chain processes, current work style, practices, policies,
procedures, etc. that would result in measurable cost and non-cost

o Responsible to maintain close relationship with relevant parties (e.g., Local
Authorities, internal & external customers, source inspection team, etc.) and
suppliers to facilitate smooth connection within parties to deliver the divisional
objectives.

REQUIREMENT
o More than 5 years relevant working experience especially in supply chain
management within heavy engineering and oil & gas industries.
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
