Job Description
Job Responsibility
Responsible for creating construction plans using computer software
Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure that construction meets specifications
Performing cost estimates for projects to determine project feasibility, budget needs, and prices of materials
Reviewing blueprints to ensure they meet industry standards and codes
Developing specifications for materials used in construction projects based on research into available materials
Conducting field surveys to gather data about existing conditions
Manage on-site construction works
Supervision on the operation teams and ensure the work progress is according to the work schedule
Preparation for the project technical detail, strictly according to the local regulatory requirement
Control the quantity of construction materials and waste material control
Quality management
Coordinate the problems in the construction process
Performs other tasks required by the Management
Job Requirements
Have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in the construction industry (Building, road construction or, Infrastructure Projects) leading management of mid to large-sized projects
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Have proper planning and organizational skills i.e., report writing and monitoring project plans and schedules and utilizing time and resources effectively
Have experience with JKR or government projects
Good knowledge of local authority's specifications and standards requirement
Must be aware of health and safety procedures and legislation to ensure a safe construction site environment
Must be willing to work 5 and half days (Saturday-Half Day) and relocate
Willing to work under pressure and work after working hours
