Job ResponsibilityPerform requirement study, planning, design, evaluation, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, User Acceptance Test (UAT), support & maintenance of infrastructure vendor security tecnologies that includes but not limited to Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Cloud Firewall, Intrusion Detection/Prevention System (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and endpoint security (antivirus software).
Collaborate with project stakeholders, system and application team in tender/project on proposal write up and requisition of security related hardware, software and services to achieve project requirement.
Ensure timely delivery of project implementation, User Acceptance Test (UAT), preventive maintenance to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
Self-initiative, proactive to manage, troubleshoot, analyze and work closely with technical support team to resolve technical issues related to vendor security equipment.
Escalate to principal/manufacturer/vendor support team for further troubleshooting when required.
Implement security improvements by assessing current situation, evaluate trends and anticipate new requirements.
Prepare user guide documentations.
Prepare periodic security reports according to Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Provide security advisory and consultation services.
Conduct hands-on training, end-user security awareness and knowledge transfer.
