Job ResponsibilityThe role would suit an ICSA graduate with at least 3 years' experience handling corporate secretarial matters, ideally working within a corporate secretarial firm, legal firm or public listed company environment. This is a senior position that requires the candidate to truly has the desire to help each company to grow. Since we are providing guidance to every entrepreneur, even new startups, you will require to have the determination to want to do your best to help the entrepreneur to be ready to grow. Each entrepreneur must learn and be given the guidelines to ensure standard financial and legal practice that will lead them to maintain high standards of corporate governance. If you are ready to serve, this role will be very challenging for you.
o As a secretary senior, you'll need to:
o Assist to organize and prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and general meetings
o Take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns
o Follow up on actions from meetings
o Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries
o Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action
o Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors
