Job ResponsibilityHOLDING COC - OFFICER IN CHARGE OF NAVIGATIONAL WATCH OF 500GT OR MORE NC TRADE VOYAGE OR UNLIMITED TRADE VOYAGE
i. Reports to the Master on any matters pertaining to Navigation, Bridge Equipments and Medical. Otherwise, to report to Chief Officer on vessel's operational duties.
ii. Assist the Master for correcting navigational charts, nautical and communications publications. Keeping navigational watch as an Officer of the Watch.
ii. Understudy the duties of Chief Officer and in the event the Chief Officer is incapacitated, assume the Chief Officer's duties and responsibilities until the he is fully recovered or deployment of a new Chief Officer.
iii. Carry out any other duties assigned to him by his Superiors.
