Job Responsibilityo To obey all lawful commands
o To work under the supervision of the Master and Officer.
o To familiarize with the Life Saving and Fire Fighting facilities of the vessel soon after joining
o To maintain personal hygiene, including clothing, and keep living areas in a clean and sanitary condition
o To ensure safe operation of the galley equipment and utensils.
o Shall ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with menus approved by the Master.
o Shall keep an accurate check on the provision stock and to ensure all spoiled and expired stuff are discarded promptly
o To ensure stores are replenished in good time taking into account the schedule of supply boat service and the consumption rate
o To report promptly the existence of any potentially hazardous conditions to the Chief Officer or Master.
