Job Responsibility1. Optimizes hotel revenues by taking any opportunity to sell hotel facilities and services.
2. Promote and maintains good public relations when in contact with guests, contractors and suppliers.
3. Response to guest and potential client's needs immediately and continuously follows up on tentative and confirmed bookings.
4. Conducts frequently courtesy visits to producers and potential producers.
5. Performs sales activities both inside and outside the hotel on a regular basis.
6. Assist in the formulation of sales plans identifying markets and customers.
7. Supports the sales and marketing efforts in catering to the needs of our clients and guests.
8. Enhances the promotion of sales by all means, but largely relying on telephone sales calls to travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers and airlines.
9. Attends all sales related meetings such as Sales and F&B.
10. Increases the visibility and awareness level of the hotel.
11. Develops good relations with local ground operators.
12. Works closely with other sales employees for the development of different markets.
13. Detects market leads and take appropriate action to gain potential business.
14. Keeps alert to competitive strategic moves by other competitive hotels either from Malaysia or other supporting markets.
15. Maintains a history file for each account.
16. Conduct a regular and systematic follow up systems for all designated accounts.
17. Carries out direct mail campaigns, sales blitzes and tele-marketing to optimize revenues.
18. Attend regular business and travel functions.
19. Conduct familiarization visits for potential trade partners.
20. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
