Job Description

Job Responsibility
  • Advise on compliance by the Company with laws and contracts entered into by the Company.
  • Advising, drafting, vetting and perfecting agreements, trust deeds, services agreements and related documents.
  • Monitoring and updating the business units as well as clients on changes to related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Provide support with law researches on legal matters and their implications.
  • Assist with the drafting of legal documents, including advising on the applicability of and compliance with laws and contract terms.
  • Assist with knowledge sharing initiatives on legal issues and best practices including identifying and researching topics, preparing contents etc.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislations and keep abreast of regulatory developments as well as evolving best practices in corporate governance.
  • Keep informed on industry changes, trends and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties, creating relation of trust.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB).
  • Required languages: English and Mandarin. (Both written and spoken)
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Law or equivalent
  • Self-driven and self-starter who takes initiative and prioritize multiple projects under tight timelines.
  • Team player with a proactive can-do attitude.
  • Possess good leadership, people and project management skills.
  • Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
  • Ability and willingness to manage up and laterally.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Possess own transport
  • Committed and keeping confidentiality.
  • Candidates with knowledge of familiarity with the Companies Act 2016, Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance will have an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Salary Package: Up to RM 3,000 Basic + Medical Allowance, Overtime Allowance + Travel Allowance + Annual Bonus
