Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city Centre, Traders Hotel by Shangri-la is looking for a Revenue Executive.
As Revenue Executive we rely on you: o Implement revenue management practices in accordance with Shangri-La philosophy, policies and standards. o Lead the statistical and competitive information gathering and produce forecast based on demand, timely and within accuracy expectations. o Ensure effective use of all produced reports. Prepare an accurate Revenue Management forecast using Revenue Report Suite. Be in full compliance with Marketing Manual Reports. o Recommend and implement overall revenue maximization strategies including business mix strategies, identifying revenue opportunities and group recommendations. o Create, recommend and implement effective pricing strategies for all market segments and revenue streams with logical rate structures that drive revenues into the hotel. o Maximize delivery through the all distribution channels by implementing revenue management strategies and yield management tactics effectively in all channels. Fully responsible for inventory management and control. o Establishes and maintains updated account history on Delphi / files on major active accounts within his/her market areas. o Maintains comprehensive tracing system o Closely follows up with all business leads, assigned project or duties and advise Revenue Manager with job progress.
Requirements o Establishes and maintains effective communication channel. o Good command in writing & speaking English. o Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. o Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees. o Develops and maintains close working relationship with all departments throughout the hotel. o Inform concerned departments important VIP/group arrival well in advance. o Demonstrate strong negotiation skill to maximize hotel profit in all revenue producing areas. o Good knowledge of computer (office) software and operates office equipment skillfully. o Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
